David Dawson

David relocated to Pahrump from California in 2006 and has served as a VEA Ambassador for the past eighteen months. He was an active participant in the formulation of the Ambassador Grassroots structure, the election of the executive leadership team in 2007 and on various sub-committees. He has been excited and challenged to do his part in working toward the goals of offering the lowest priced power and meeting the cooperative principles of doing business.

Dave retired from United Technologies, Pratt Whitney Rocketdyne after 30 years as a manager and strategic planner, providing leadership and guidance to team members and advice to management. He graduated from Los Angeles Pierce College in June 1974 with an Associate of Arts degree in Supervisory Management and attended many classes associated with Business Management at Cal Tech Pasadena and with American Management Association.

Dave served in the U.S. Navy from November 1962 through June 1966 and in the Navy Reserves until 1968. He served in the California Air National Guard, 261st Combat Com. Unit from 1982 through 1987.
