Distributed Generation (DG) 30kW or LESS These are systems that generate electricity from different small energy sources such as a photovoltaic (PV) system or a wind generator. These DG systems produce electricity which can be used by the member or delivered to Valley Electric Association's system for an energy credit which may result in a reduced electric bill.
VEA does not install or supply any DG systems, but does allow interconnection to our facilities.
If you are considering installing a DG system and connecting it to VEA's system, please download the required forms below. Each form must be fully completed and signed by the member. Then the forms must be returned to VEA at 800 E. Hwy 372, Pahrump, NV 89048. Please contact VEA's Engineering Department at (775) 727-5312 if you have any questions.
You may qualify for federal tax credits by installing a DG system, please consult with your tax preparer.
