News Release - Valley Electric Association Receives Safety Award

The association of electric power utilities in the Northwest has recognized Valley Electric Assocation (VEA) for its outstanding safety record in 2005.

The Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA), the association of electric power utilities in the Western United States and Canada, which is based in Vancouver, Wash., awarded VEA a first place in its "2005 NWPPA Safety Contest."

Manager of Operations Robby Hamlin accepted the NWPPA safety award on behalf of VEA at NWPPA
