With Marathon Size Does Matter!

The cutaway illustrates the amount of Envirofoam® insulation resident in the Marathon® Electric Water Heater.  This feature contributes to the high efficiency factor and also adds to the overall size of the unit as compared to a standard, less efficient water heater. 

This is extremely important to consider prior to installation because some spaces are sized only for a smaller standard unit and may need alteration.

VEA will stock one size* at the present time.  The following statistics are for this unit:

• Model MR50245 - 50 Gallons
• Size — Diameter is 23-1/2 inches
              Height is 66-3/4 inches

*The cost on the 50 Gallon MR50245 unit for a VEA member is $734.71. This unit was chosen because it is proven to be the most energy efficient overall.
