The Finance Committee reviews fiscal operations, financial statements, and Board expenses, as well as the annual work plan and budget, rate issues, and the annual financial audit provided by the third-party audit firm.
The Member Liaison Committee aids in communication, shares news and information, assists with research, and volunteers in community events to promote member engagement. These events range from Valley Electric’s Fill the Bucket or Salvation Army’s bell ringing to assisting with awarding scholarships and board election processes.
The Policy & Bylaws Committee reviews and suggests changes to existing policies and makes recommendations for new policies to the Board of Directors. The Policy & Bylaws Committee also assists, advises, and makes recommendations to the Board on the Cooperative’s Bylaws. This committee will review the Association’s policies and Bylaws on an annual basis.
